Stretching

Stretching is a form of exercises that can lead to an increase in flexibility and elasticity of muscles. These exercises keep the muscles flexible before and after training, prepare the whole body for movement, help the body pass from the state of rest to action on a daily basis and therefore injuries are avoided.

The reasons for stretching are various. First, stretching reduces muscle tension and gives the body the sense of relaxation, particularly due to poor body posture. They relieve us after a tiring day and prevent muscle injuries. Moreover, stretching prepares the body to appropriately respond to sports activities that may follow, while, after training, it contributes to muscle development and quick recovery. Finally, stretching boosts good blood circulation and makes us feel good.

Each one of us can do stretches, regardless of age, weight or physical condition. The methods are adapted to the individual differences in posture and flexibility of every muscle.
