Floor BarreZENA ROMMETT ™
The Floor Barre ™ was created in 1960 by Zena Rommett. It is a technique which helps dancer refine the body alignment and release tension throughout the body.
It strengthens the muscles and joints, rehabilitates and prevents injuries and addresses to people of all ages.
Floor Barre™ is done on the floor and prepares the body in a simple and beautiful way for the standing movement. The technique is gentle yet very effective. It combines ballet with anatomical principles of alignment. Using the floor, Floor-Barre™ strengthens and properly corrects the placement of the pelvis, hips and back. The mind and body are concentrated and engaged to work together. Through simple and impressive movements while lying on the floor, with careful guidance and precise instruction, you can get impressive results. Barre AstiéGRAMMAR OF THE BODIES, A.ASTIE
The Barre Astié method is a way to know the human musculoskeletal system, joints and their mobility. It makes us find out our personal ability to move by bending, turning and curving the back through a functional perception allowing us to form a better view of ourselves.
The method addresses to people of all ages. The lesson is structured in classical and modern forms and is mainly done on the floor using dancers’ energy.
Teaching is done only online by the experienced certified instructors Mrs. Niki Tiganitaki and Mrs. Ioanna Mavrogiorgi.

Teaching is adapted to online education so that the lesson will be entertaining, communicative and constructive with strict security measures. The teacher’s relationship with students makes the lesson interesting and reminds us of the importance of communication. The school offers private or group lessons depending on your desire and availability.
